Two takes on Scrabulous. First, that Hasbro/Mattel's marketing departments should have ignored legal and seized the giant opportunity presented by the popular Facebook app. Second, that copyright law makes it so that the companies' lawyers have to defend the Scrabble brand here or cede it everywhere. (Side note: I'm much better at Scrabulous than actual Scrabble. I'm not great with numbers, and the app auto-calculates the point values of possible words.) Jan. 21, '08
