New Media, New Democracy Class at NYU

Friday, January 23rd, 2009

So, it looks as though I'm going to be teaching a class at NYU's Gallatin school this semester, on the topic of "new media, new democracy." I'm entirely thrilled about that, as it's a topic of both great personal interest and one that's entirely timely, given that the class will coincide with, oh, about the first 140 days of the Obama administration. I'm on the lookout for more students, though you, of course, have to be an NYU student (or someone with class taking privileges, I guess). But we're committed to making the class as open as possible, via the Internets. To that end, we've got a Facebook group going. I don't see anything wrong with anyone who's interested joining.
