So as it turns out, on-deadline political blogging is hard work. Under the pressure of trying to find something to focus on and then attempting to write about it well, it's strongly tempting to resort to snark. I tried to resist that pull this weekend but was successful to varying degrees in different posts, I think. But what makes me feel better is that I think there's a real learning curve to this sort of blogging and that it will get a good deal easier as a work at it.
