A side project that I've been working on just launched. The city of Baltimore -- working together with local hospitals and pharmacies -- has set up a new program that will monitor and respond problems that might arise when seniors transistion over to the new Medicare Part D prescription drug program on New Year's Day. The idea is to both prempt problems with the transition before they can cause real public health damage and to strenghten the city's emergency response muscles.
